Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

I am a Bible believing Christian.
I believe Jesus died for my sins and He rose from the dead. I believe that Jesus' death on the cross won't benefit you or anyone else until a person makes a personal decision to repent that is turns their back on their sin and specifically asks to be forgiven.
I was raised in a Lutheran church which taught be that since I had been baptized when I was a baby, that therefore I was a Christian.
After studying the Bible myself, I can say infant baptism is lie from Satan and you should run, not walk, abway from any group which does that.
I'm a Veteran of the Vietnam War and during my time overseas I read the Old Testament once and the New Testament six times. I did that without any influence from Pastors telling what I should believe.
I later went to college and got a degree in math and science and I know that the Bible agrees with math and science.
I've created the mathematical models which proves the earth cannnot be more than 130,000 years old.
I formerly served as a college Pastor at Illinois State University and Syracuse U.
My beliefs are based on the Bible, not what I was told to believe by some religious group.
After I started teaching and preaching a certain denomination came to me and they recognized me as one of their Pastors.
I've read books like the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church and the Documents of Vatican II cover to cover.
While serving as a campus Pastor, I met and talked at length with thousand of students, learning along the way, about the denominations where they had been raised.
Consequently I'm considered an expert on what various denominaitons believe and the pros and cons of each.
Trust me when I say there are no perfect denominations.
Satan does not like me and he proves that over and over again.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I think of myself as Buddhist and believe there was in actual fact a Buddha who wrote down the steps that should be taken along life's path so that, with enough effort, enlightenment (or understanding) could come.
I do not believe in any god-head. It is contrary to logic. I believe that each person has control over their own thoughts, words and deeds and suffers or delights in the consequences of these.
I wish everyone peach, love and an end to attachment and sorrow.
Thank you for a really decent question.

I try to avoid belief. What others call beliefs, I think of as working hypotheses, i.e., ideas that I accept because they seem to work even if the theoretical foundation is either unknown or unproven. Since I am not a trained scientist, though, I have to rely on the work of those who are, so even that foundation can have weak spots.
To make it as even a working hypothesis, an idea has to be logically sound and reasonably free of hype.
I call myself an atheist, and in my fundamental approach to life, I am a skeptic.

Lavender (what a lovely name), why do you translate every word except "Allah?" There are probably some even here who do not know that the word translates as "God." The practice of leaving that one word untranslated has unnecessarily increased the strife between Christians and Muslims for centuries; why continue it?

love, solidarity, respect, harmony;the most basic beliefs in life. I dont believe that looking into the sky and praying to a God, and focusing so much on religion that you become blind to whats happening on the ground around you is any good.

Well I think it is better to have ideas then just beliefs. I believe in God but my ideas of God are much different then what gets spoken here.
