if you're talking about your chest it is probably not cancer. i've had a similar experience. they could be like what i had which was cysts, which are basically just little balls of fluid which do nothing but occasionally get sore. but, it doesn't hurt to get it checked out. my doc said there was almost no way it could be cancer of that type in someone as young as we are.

usually cancer does not hurt, by this I mean a lump in the breast is rarely painful if cancer is the cause. you did not specify where the lumps are, Im assuming your breast. 16 is a rare age for breast cancer, but its still possible, most likely it is fibriods which are usually more noticable close to your cycle. you should at least inform your familiy doctor, he/she would probably do a manual exam and most likely tell you not to worry. However do not ignore this, tell your mother or whom ever about it and have it checked, with any kind of cancer, catching in time makes all the difference.

Hard to answer a question like that without more specifics, Where is the pain where are the lumps how long have they been their? if you have lumps that don't Belong Go se a Doctor, that is the best advise.

I'm a nose cancer survivor. When the cancer spread to my bones n liver, the tumors made me in immense pain all over. In your case, it might or might not be, cos cancer happens to anyone at any age.

Please see a doc n ask him/her to recommend a scan (ultrasound, MRI, CT, or PET scan) to determine if the lump is cancerous or not. Compared to losing your life (touch wood!) a scan is priceless. Pls do take care and note any hints your body is throwing at you.

go to a doctor. lumps are never a good sign. If the lumps are in the vagina, then you need to ask your doctor for a gynecologist referral
