I might believe he EXISTS.

But as to whether I'd devote my life to him? First, he's got to explain WHY.

And of course, the simple fact is that is ISN'T him knocking on the door -- never has, and in all likelihood never will.

The sad thing is I know many Christians who if a long haired filthy man, who talked of debtors, Pharisees and false profits, knocked on their door and asked to have coffee with them they'd send him packing in a heart beat. I know far more atheists who would be willing to sit and have a coffee chat with such an individual.

Of course I'm not sure what this says about the nature of belief.

Why does he has to knock when he know he should call
and press the button on the intercom.
Does he really like coffee, I have only tea at home.

Yes love is in my heart, keeps pumping blood all the time
never stopped for the past half a century.

I wish people would stop knocking Atheists...my best friend is an Atheist, but he is one of the greatest guys I've ever met-he is kind and caring. Not all Atheists are bad or evil, and isn't how you are as a person more important than what religion you believe in?

Believe what? That there's a human named Jesus? Sure. That's he's a god? Takes more than drinking coffee.

Of course not. He'd have to break some physical laws before I'd accept that he was divine.

There are plenty of people around the world claiming to be Jesus. Why don't you believe them?

He's got to do some miracles. Just having coffee with me isn't enough. I have coffee with lots of people that aren't Jesus.

I'll want a little bit more proof he hasn't been sent from Central Casting. But if you can arrange that, that'll be great.

Also, I can't help thinking this is more likely to happen in a "coffee" shop in Amsterdam...
