I think they are a little crazy. Their beliefs are a bit odd. They change them often.

They are great folks. I know people of many religions, and the Mormons I know are probably some of the best of the bunch. It is just another religion.
You are usually a certain religion, because you have been brainwashed into it. Maybe from the time you were an infant. And of course a lot depends on where you were born. There are thousands of different religions and many gods that people subsribe to. And you cannot come up with one shred of evidence, or any kind of absolute proof as to which one may be correct. They all have their "book". So, you must exercise religious tolerance, which is what extremist do not do.

I find it laughable that so many Christians will believe in the Rapture (which is NOT BIBLICAL), which is a mid-20th century invention of man, but then turn around and call Mormonism a cult. What a bunch of double-speak hoohaa.

The truth is that Joseph Smith's revelations are absolutly complete - and that those revelations speak of the life of believers. That is a hallmark to being a true revelation.

The Rapture theory is not at all like this - it is a false doctrine and is proved to be false in scripture.

Christians, it is simple - if you don't want to have other people tell you your faith is wrong, then don't tell other people their faith is wrong.

The Rapture doctrine is a false doctrine and I think believers in it are far more cult-like than Mormonism could ever dream of being.

Great question. Keep in mind that whether you are a Mormon, Baptist, Jehovah Witness or whatever, you must find the truth. The Bible is very clear on who God is, who Jesus is and what Salvation is all about. If any Religion contradicts what the Bible says then they have a serious problem. Also remember that God did not create Religion, he created relationships. I suggest you read the Bible and find the truth for yourself.Start by reading the Gospel of John. What I think is one thing. What God thinks is another. God calls the church a false prophet and calls us to have nothing to do with it.
-the nature of God the church teaches is not represented in its scriptures
-the way of salvation is contradictory between its scriptures
-the Book of Hebrews is a place where you find a strong rebuttal to the allegation that the Mormon church restored the priesthood to the church.

I'm not sure, i mean, i'm probably biased because one of my best friends is a strong Mormon. To me, anyone who believes that Jesus Christ saved us is worthy of Heaven. Yes, they're a bit...odd...but we all have our different ways of believing. And as for the visions the "one man" had in America, don't we hear about visions even nowadays that people claim? Do we believe them? The only difference is that Smith wrote about his visions, his missions. I'm a Christian myself, but i believe Mormons just have different ideals about the religion. Again, anyone who believes in Christ and means it with their heart, i think are worthy of heaven, no matter how strange they are.

I never had an interest in this religion until i started watching BIG LOVE on HBO, this intrigued me and i have been reading on it more to better understand their beliefs, i can't respond on what i think because i still dont know enough about them to make a judgment call
