my boyfriend and i seem to be getting quite distant lately,.. we havent been talking on msn or the phone as much, and we've been keeping our distance.. we're close (in every way such as emotionally, and we have a healthy sex life and such ), but im worrying that this distance is going to lead to us breaking up.

or is this the time where we get into more of a routine?

help please.

If you are drifting apart, then there is something that is causing it. Sometimes every relationship goes through this when you are used to be around someone all the time. You get used to them and almost take them for granted. Talk to your boyfriend. You may have a great sex life, but your emotional relationship may be dying right now. You may be simply losing interest in each other. Sit down and talk to your guy about this. Maybe it would be best to break up.

after 5 months of dating you shouldn't be drifting apart. I would assess why you think this is happening and make a change one way or another. Either figure out how to communicate your concern and see if that changes things or realize that it's the end of the relationship. Statistically most relationships do end as opposed to lasting forever so it's quite common.

maybe you two are just growing as individuals and it is a short time so maybe he needs some distance and so do you . You should ask him if he feels the same way . Sounds like you two need to have a talk . good luck .

distance could mean one of you is cheating. nut then again maybe you should see why your drifting apart i.e. work schedule etc and try and fix it. make time for each other just to talk one on one, no mobile, internet bullshit it aint the same.
