Isnt it an inconsistency? I think the definition of Almighty implies He is free to decide and no one has power over him...isnt it?

uh, yeah, that would be the way of the definition of all-mightyness. I'm reading the book that talks about how different theologians throughout history have changed the interpretations of the bible, and the church accepted them. Augustine was the biggest, stating that Mary the mother of God had to be a virgin at all times, so that Jesus's brothers were not really born of Mary. After this, the church accepted it and made it its creed. However, just a warning, that many theologians that offered their insights were condemned as blasphemers. So basically it's like this, the church is like a government, in which you can say your opinion about a law that should be changed, provided you support it with the bible constitution, but if they don't like it, they'll kill you, at least that's what happened back in the day. So either way it seems like a circus act if you ask me.

It is not an inconsistancy. You are 100% correct when you say that God is all-powerfull and has free will, but it is not He that needs the middleman, it is us who need the Middleman (Jesus Christ). He knows that we are all incapable of understanding God and doing his will completely. Therefore he chose out of His free will to send Jesus to earth as an example of how to live in relation to each other and to God. God's mind and thoughts are far above ours, therefore by presenting His loving characteristic into human form, we can now develop a more personal relationship with Him.

Nice question and the Bible has all of the answers.
GOd is almighty , powerful and can do anything. He needs noone to do for Him. He can take a life in a second, or give life in a second, or even less. There is nothing He cant do But the Bible tells us there is a triune God, God of three, trintiy. God is the Title. There is Father God, Jesus the son, God, and the Holy Spirit, that is also God. Each have a different purpose in This plan of God, and all three are God, working together. ITs quite qwesome. alled the TRINITY. Some ppl preach against it, but its in the Bible. Its not about what man says, its about what God says. There is a whole huge plan for salvation and the Bible tells all about it. My suggestion is you study and find out for yourselves. There is no inconsistency in the Bible, only ppl getting to places they dont have full understanding yet. ITs not one scripture, Its line upon line, scripture upon scripture, precep upon precept, and they all go together to present the full plan of God.
You are right, no one has power over God. BUt, God doesnt force us to believe in Him or serve HIm. ITs all free choice. But, He also warns us of the curse of making the wrong choice. If we dont accept Jesus and live for Him, we live for the devil whether we know it or not. Only one of those two options, and Jesus must be chosed and obeyed to be saved. Remember even the devil believes. God requires obedience to His Holy Word. all else leads to curse, which is just what the devil wants. So he will bring confusion, darkenss, and lies to anyone that will entertain his thoughts.
But, the role of the devil is soon to be done. God will soon have all sinned wiped out, when Jesus comes to take us home. Jsut be ready to Go with Jesus. We are either fully His or we arent His at all. And how can we obey HIm, if we dont even now the word?
Choose soon and choose wisely.

I will address the most practical sense as, in the ultimate, most profound sense, of course the Almighty is the One and only Judge.

In His Seven Noachide laws, which are binding to all mankind, G-d stablished that every society must "set up courts of law." Of course that means a lot of middlemans and judges to be carried out.

Note: it is the seventh law of the list sorted in the source.

He doesn't. God is the Almighty. If you are referring to the Trinity, they act as 3 seperate charactersitics of 1 God. I am not sure where Catholicism got the whole priest forgiving us from sins. The only one that can do that is God. I think that goes back to the days when religious factions were out terrorizing people because of their "hidden" sins.

Your so called middle men letting you go temporarily,
God has the final say and when and how it is done is
written in all the Holy Books of the world.

Super natural power of God can bring tsunamis, earth-quakes, volcanoes, storms etc etc., These things are not
man-made. Accept that.

What middle man? Jesus? But He claimed to be God. Either He was a liar, delusional or telling the truth. I believe He was telling the truth.

The BIBLE says that God will judge the nations in the White Throne judgment. That's the one where you don't want to be. That's the place where people's deeds will be judged by the Word of God. No chance of making it if you haven't accepted Christ. You'd have to be perfect, and your name would have to be written in Jesus Christ's (the Lamb's) book of life.

You want to be at the judgment seat of Christ, where believers will be rewarded for their good works, and ushered into God's presence for eternity.

If God was almighty he wouldn't need anything...not even us...

That middleman you speak of is Christ.....God in the flesh.

A blood sacrafice was necessary for the forgiveness of our sins.

Jesus Christ is our heavenly high priest....interceeding on our (Christians) behalf
