I have recently cut my hair after going permless for 16 months and am trying to get to know my hair. I have noticed that it is extremely curly when I wash it but when it dries it is no longer curly. Is there something that I can put in it so it dries the way it looks when wet?

Nexxus Exxtra Gel is the only thing that really keeps my curls springy and frizzless, however, it is on the expensive side.

If your hair is on the coarser side, like mine, you might want to go with a curl cream instead. Dove makes a really nice one, and creams are less drying.

When your hair is naturally curly and you heat straighten it, there is no way to stop it going frizzy when it is humid. I used to straighten my hair everyday and it used to frizz up, but now I jsut make sure I take good care of it in the mornings and wear it curly ^-^ I'm much happier. When you get up in the morning, whatever you do DON'T BRUSH IT only comb it through in the shower when you condition your hair (and don't do that every day) In the mornings try to get it wet but not soaking wet just quite damp especially on the ends so it doesn't look frizzy then add a little bit of frizz serum or even a tiny bit of mousse.

Put some curl enhancing cream in it. Make sure it specifically says on the bottle tht it is going to help "spring" up ur curls. Also put in a tiny amount of serum to stop the frizz. Them when it dries u could also try and curl just a few pieces with a curling iron to help. Spray with just a touch of hairspray afterword.

You gotta give Mixed Chicks products a try. You apply their system, ending with their leave-in conditioner on clean wet hair and air dry. It really works.
