I'm a Christian, and here's my opinion:
I don't think they're misleading. God offers salvation to everyone, and then it's individual choice. Point #3 shows that it's not man's ability, God first makes the sacrifice, but it is man's prerogative to chose.
If you disagree, I think you'd like TULIP. Check it out:

First of all we must never question God's perogative. He made us he can do whatever we want. Can you imagine an aunt sticking is little arm up at you? You would crush him in an instant. It's difficult sometimes to believe that we are evil but really how much time of the day do you spend doing things for yourself and thinking of yourself? 99.99% How often do you honesly sacrifice willingly your own desires to help someone else out? How often do you wish bad would happen to those you hate? We are separated from God and cannot be righeous on our own. Jesus does two things for us. First he allows forgiveness because he paid the price of death that we rightly deserve and therefore have fellowship with the allmighty. Second he guides us through the spirit or the helper to do good and please the father. Instead of focusing on what people tell you, why not study the scriptures for yourself (starting with the book of Matthew) and see what Jesus and God have to say to you directly. As you read you will find that there is absoultely no way to dispute what Jesus says though what man says is very questionable.

Past law 1 there is nothing spiritual going on. Man is not separated from God. Jesus had alot to teach us but he is not the only way to God. Law 4 just restates law 3. Why the redundancy? Why are they called laws? Don't you think God would rather we come to him of our own volition and desire to relate to him rather than follow some laws that some MEN made up?

I became a Christian 37 years ago using the four spiritual laws. I agree that they point to man's ability. However, the Holy Spirit used them in my conversion. If the Holy Spirit can use a talking donkey, I suppose the Holy Spirit can use just about anything!

#1 - I find that highly questionable and mostly made of wishful thinking. Go visit a Children's hospital cancer ward for evidence.
#2 - This is just scare tactics that religious groups use to trick people into following orders.
#3 - No evidence, no data, lot's of arrogance.
#4 - See #3 above

I disagree with these laws. They are spiritual hypotheses, at best.

these are not spiritual laws..a wise person is the person who conforms his or her practical affairs to God's will.. ( God's will) not your own will
