That's kind of double standard.

I am being bigoted?
There are people who believe in Zeus. They follow him and they HAVE seen proof. Just as much as Christians have. The reason that Zeus is in the Mythology section is because Christians put him there. No one else.
I just think its hypocrytical to yell foul when someone says YOUR god doesn't exist but then call someone else's god false.

To American Beauty above me, she is not trying to *disprove* God, she is only trying to make a point about Zeus who is the father of many Gods. Who may very well be the great grandfather of the Christian God. Where does Yaweh, Eloheim or whatever his name come from, whats his history? All he can say is that he's always been around. At least the other God's have some history.

Books about Zeus are found in the mythology section. Evidently christians and muslims are not the only ones who believe zeus is a fairy tale.

It's interesting how you put so much energy into disproving God, when all you have to do is leave it alone. You don't have to waste time with your silly jokes and ridiculous comments. You can be on your way, content in believing there is not God. Instead, you make every effort to attack christianity, rather than get on with your life. Makes no sense.

Muslims are monothiests, and believe in one supreme and almighty God.
People who believe in God are not afraid to acknowlege an entity stronger and more powerful than themselves.

They're just special, Jill.
I'm pretty sure there was something in their writings about treating others as they would want to be treated. Too bad they frequently forget that part. They don't *really* want to be treated the way they treat others.

They are all just different belief systems. I actually think that whoever everyone worships is the same thing. We just give it different attributes to go with our understanding of a supreme being. Different paths, same destination.

It is funny how they all claim to know the truth but that truth varies from place to place.
