Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

U don't say your gender or height, but my guess is u think u r overweight.
The best way to reduce weight is a balanced diet and regular exercise. I know that is repeated often and can lead to misunderstanding so I'll try to explain.
A balanced diet is one that includes all the food groups and eating at least 3 times/day. This keeps metabolism going at its optimum. Skipping meals is bad.
Regular exercise should be at least 3x/week and should be a generous cardio workout with some resistance training. The goal would be 30 min per day 5x/week. ( I'm still working on that myself! )

First forget about your age. Start a routine plan of diet and exercise. You can reduce your weight with in 2 to 3 months if you are consistent in following your schedules.

Well the best thing to do is to get a well balanced night sleep, excercise more in your routine and always eat the healthiest of foods. Changing to a vegitarian or vegan lifestlye will also drmatically change you physical apperance.
Also make simple thing to make excersise greater for you.
1. Park the car far away----- more time to walk
2. eat salads and drink low fat milk-- at your age milk is best
3. try a vegitarian lifestyle---- some of the healthiest people!

Eat what ever you want! BUT eat Smaller portions. And go walking everyday. Drink water rather then coffee, teas and colas.
I lost a Whole lot of weight doing just what I said.. Hope it helps you.
