Any beneficiary has a legal right to a copy of that will. The estate's executor is legally obligated to provide one to each beneficiary. I would inquire about this with her lawyer.

If you do not have any information about the Will and the contents there of,then the best solution to get out the last will from the person, who is the having in his possesson or beneficiary is that you must approach and apply the revenue/concerned authorties for the transfer of the said land/property in your name being the Class-I legal heir and the authorities will get the notice published in News paper or may direct you to get directions from the court in your favour. In the mean time, the holder/beneficiary of the WILL, will come up,seeking right in the property of your mother and that is how you will come to know about the existence of will if any and the contents thereof. This is the best and and full proof way to bring out the Will from the possession of the holder/exector/beneficiary,as soon as possible.

This is so sad when families do this to siblings. Let me tell you first hand from experience. They will get theirs in the end, Karma is inevitable. If you can not wait around for Karma seek the advice of a lawyer. Yes you are entitled to a copy of the last will and testament if there was one. Hopefully that sibling did not have Mom sign her life away to him. I am sorry for your loss and I will pray for peace for you and your family. God Bless you

a will should be filed at the local court house in your area.and if it was filed to be legal , you can request a copy of it ,as long as you have the death certificate and you can get one at the court house also , but , my advice is to hire an attorney to get involved , it will help matters

Yes request copy, contact attorney that drew up will. If no attorney should be on file as public record.
