My favourite Blues Bands

That I never saw: Muddy Waters
That I saw first : The Yardbirds (Just before EC left)
That I grew up with and was my first love: Taste and Then The Rory Gallagher Band.
Now: That is so, so difficult. Joe Bonammassa, Ian Parker, Ian Siegal, Danny Bryant, Nine Below Zero.
So off all those that I could see.......Ian Parker is the guy I would have to choose. He is an amazing composer, singer and guitar player. If you don't beleive me check out the track "Awake at Night" from the album Lost and Found.

With absolute due nods, bows, and remaining
still in frozen awe and admiration for the every bit of
Robert Johnson's work, and of course, BB King,
for me, it's ALLLLLLLL about Muddy Waters.

For you see, Mr. McKinley Morganfield is the man
who put the Unk in Funk.

< It's too bad for those who don't know
what The Rolling Stones have done.
Yeah buddy, I'm talking Pure Blues, thank you.

And that's all they're gonna get from me.
