Just bad weather I think. Although I don't know enough about the Global warming issue to make a real qualifed judgement.

Well, of course, now people are going to invoke "global warming" every time anything unusual happens - which is good and bad. There is no question that global warming is happening, and on the one hand it's good that people are thinking about it and tying it in with real world situations. But on the other, this also tends to make some people a little blase about the whole thing. Then there are people like native Texan Tom T, who still seem to think that it's all just a myth to aggrandize Al Gore...but people like this are more and more the crackpot minority these days.

With these particular incidents, I have no idea if global warming played an active role or not. It wouldn't necessarily surprise me, but I'm not quick to ascribe everything to generally rising temps.

It could be signs form the Bible but it could also be bad weahter. We have had weather problems for a long time. Look at the hurricane that hit Galveston back in the early 1900's. We have had alot of rain here in Texas but we always get alot of rain during the summer. That's why I carry my umbrella with me:))

I dont know much about it but i think that it is really bad. I think that they are signs of global warming and people must do something about it. We must take bigger care of the Earth or we will be in trouble.

As a Native Texan, I can tell you that this has happened before - about every 10 - 12 years, its nothing new, just unusual. Fires happens throughout the west just about every year because environmentalist have prevented undercutting of forests. Disregard what Al Gore has to say about it, he's an idiot.
