That's a good question and a confusting one.. I'm always seeing sheets marked full/queen... So, which is it... I imagine that every mattress is different especially nowadays with all the advances (ie pillowtop, reg, extra long/deep). Your best bet is to measure your bed frame and go to the mattress store and ask the sales people for exact measurements to get the bed you want or measure your own mattress and keep it with you in case you are buying sheets and bedding... I hope this helps a little your question was specific, but don't know why you asked..? Good luck

Actually it can vary. It depends on how old your mattress is. I was trying to get a mattress for my aunts old bed frame and what I thought was "full sized" was smaller from "back in the day". Needless to say the mattress had to be special ordered.

make sure you measure the frame

good luck
