In comparition, She was alloted only 835 acres in a village in Karnal. If this is her plight thing about ordinary Hindus struck in poverty. They were kicked out or killed and their properties taken away. Millions of Hindus\Sikhs lost their lives.

Majority of Muslims stayed in India not due to patriotism but they did not want to lose their business and wealth as they were assured that Indian government will not take away their wealth Few Examples: Nizams and Princes of Avadh Nawabs and their muslim ministers.

When ever some statement is made about Muslims few of my dear Muslim Friends out here start shouting on top of their voice defending the whole of Muslim Community. Firstly we don't blame the whole Muslim Community for any wrong happened in past or happening now, as we know it’s not the whole community but few fanatic people unfortunately belonging to this community are cause for all such trouble. What happened in 1947 before & after the partition of India need not be opened now again & again because more you open it more skeletons will be coming out form the closet. I know none of the people answered this question were even born when partition took place & if they were born they must be small kids unable to understand what’s going on. But as told to me by both my parents who meet during the Delhi riots of 1947 the situation as was in Delhi, Punjab & newly formed Pakistan was the most inhuman. Who fininancied whom or who killed how many, actually how many Hindus, Sikhs & Muslim died no one can ever give any right figures. One thing is sure that the very first shot that came was from Muslims in then formed Pakistan, this truth they cannot deny. May be these people started the killing spree in the trains being sent to India caring Hindus & Sikhs on some wrong information that Muslims were being killed in India or may be because they were Religiously provoked for such activities They sent the first Train loaded with the dead bodies of the Hindus & Sikhs to India, that was the saturation point for Hindus & Sikhs in India to retaliate & they did it no denying this fact. Hindus are the broad minded & open hearted people of the world but they too have heart & brain of human & human sentiments which they cannot always keep hidden & so it happened which you all know from various books or articles or whatever source. What both these communities lost in this partition is enormous that cannot be calculated but if we still continue that very attitude we will be creating another such situation where this blood shed will take place once again & mind you if this time it starts there is no Gandhi to stop it & it will means such a big lose for the Muslim Community that you can not even imagine both here in India as well in Pakistan & the name of Pakistan will be erased from the globe once for ever, So my sincere advice to all of you to keep shut & close this chapter once for ever, this goes especially for my Muslim Brothers in this forum.

Time and again it has Indian-ness of Muslim Indians is questioned. Muslim Indians are Indians by conviction and by choice. They had several countries to migrate to but they preferred India knowing fully well that they will be a minority in this country because they loved this country. For the sake of argument lets us accept "that Muslims stayed in India not due to patriotism but they did not want to lose their business and wealth as they were assured that Indian government will not take away their wealth." It was their wealth which was theirs by right and was not received by gift or through Alms.
Please, how long are we going to keep beating each other with the stick of partition. Whole new generation has changed which is not even remotely concerned about Pakistan, for them it is one more foreign country. Every time Muslims are asked to prove their patriotism whereas all the people who are caught selling national secrets are not Muslims.
To Vijay m, fanatics exist is all the communities, Narendra Modi, Praveen Togadia, etc. are not Muslims by any remote chance. But please understand fanaticism of any kind deserves nothing but condemnation.

Please let us not use this platform to spread hatred. No community is all good or all bad. Hinduism clearly gives us the choice: do you want to side with the good or with the bad?

Hinduism teaches us that all prayers go to the same Narayan, or that there is only one Truth though the wise call it by many names. This makes all humanity one big community: vasudhaiva kutumbakam.

You usually are born into a religion and are taught about it by your community. It is not your own choice, just as you did not chose your country or your parents or the colour of your hair or eyes or skin . Also, no religion can be intrinsically bad. It is the way people interpret religion to suit their convenience that causes problems. Let us be the ones who solve problems, not the ones who create them. This choice is definitely ours to make.

I am glad so many people with so many different philosophies live in our country. We can learn such a lot from one another and become richer in every way. I am so glad that I live in India. Please let us not fight about differences. If everybody agreed on everything, the world would be such a boring place!

If you feel anybody "insults" your religion, remember that religion cannot be insulted: it is much above such things. A Muslim friend of mine said that when elephants walk, and dogs bark at them, it does not bother the elephant. How true!

Friend, cool down. The past cannot be changed. It requires political support. Now there are 80% Hindu MPs and MLAs, when none of them desires to dig out the grave why should we bother? Still there are so called HINDUs who desire to help pakistan to buy weapons for use against India and still they were CMs of big state. Our voice will be crushed, I agree, but we are in minority and have to wait and watch for proper situation. Educate the people silently but surely, earn proper support and power. It was the time when gandhian thoughts ruled the nation and now perhaps all parties are supporting itto earn compassion and votes of some people, though it is outdated for the moment. We have to prove everything against time. So don't be outragious or crazy. This will disturb your mental peace and thinking over future plans.

Wow, Good Information. You are quite a knowledgeable person. But don't expect that all the Hindus all of a sudden will start following you and take you as king.

Everyone here might be enjoying a particular religion but don't expect them to subscribe to your individual ideology. Every Hindu (or any other religious or non-religious person) is an independent entity in itself and do not need your ideology to stand firm, he has his own strong pair of foot.

You are ill informed and your source of information is very biased.
As for your favoured nation of Pakistan-the less said the better.
You are not even able to vote in your own country.
At least in India,Muslims are able to live with dignity and equal right.
We even have great Muslim personalities like Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Azim Premji,Anu Aga Khan etc.
Can you even count any noteworthy Hindus in Pakistani politics.
You are not even able to tolerate mild hug by your own female minister to her coach-and you pronounced a fatwa against her.
Your country shelters Osama Bin laden,and your ISI is fomenting terror activities in Afghanistan,China,Iraq,UK,etc not to mention Kashmir.
Also dont forget-u have the unique distinction of having your "Father of A-bomb" under house arrest for seeling his countries secret-it shows that Pakis will sell their own mother for a few dollars!
