Is there anyway you can stop a dog's eyes from watering and leaving that brown stain? I have a white Cockapoo and it gets very unattractive. I have some drops that I use and I try to clean her eyes every day to remove the crust.

If you stay on it, a quick wipe with a wet bounty every day should help keep the gunk off. Some dog's a just prone to eye leakage. I have a poodle and a chihuahua that have the same problem. If you are truly concerned, ask your vet next time you go for his checkup.

There are a few good commercial tear stain removers. I believe one is called "Crystal-eye". Look up et supply catalogs online to see what they have. I don't recommend household remedies beause some ingredients are very paionful if they get in the eye.

I am told that eye envy is good for tear stains.

some people have had success crushing some tums with calcium over their food.

I have black dogs, so I couldnt tell you if these really work or not!
