you will have to call an exterminator now cause the problem has gotten beyond your control and you will have to have this done monthly untill the fleas are completely gone because of the eggs they lay . good luck .

Highly Diluted Malathyon (sp) mixed in a pump-up insecticide sprayer , then sprayed on the carpet lightly and around your house's perimeter and yard, and go hang out somewhere else for a day and let it dry out. Absolutely Works.
And the absolute cure-all to get rid of All bugs that like to live on animals is a few cloves of garlic put into something that your dog will wolf down without chewing. Give it to him everyday and he will never have another flea or anything else like that. It will cure advanced bouts of mange in less than a week even after spending hundreds of dollars on the Vet with no results. Also works on Humans. It Seriously Works. Guaranteed

When my wife and I frist moved into our first house, the previous owner had alot of animals, which of course meant alot of fleas.
I tried this method, only had to do it once. Go to the any store (I got mine from Fred's) and buy some Powdered Boric Acid. It is relatively cheap. Sprinkle this all over your floor, and let it sit for a good hour, then vacuum it up.
Tada fleas gone for good. The rest of the time we lived there I might have saw 3 fleas total.
Some people might be weary of the term "Acid" in the name, however, it is safe. Just dont let the baby play in it.

oh that happened to me before . my poor little kids I would give them baths to remove the fleas and they would jump on their little butts before I could even dress them, looking like I sprinkled them with pepper. we tried every thing including professional exterminators. didn't work. the only thing that helped was to vacuum constantly and throw the vac bag away and put a new one and start over. vac vac vac. that is the best way, but when you take out the old bag make sure you take it far away because they will jump right out back into your house. they will finally leave when their season is gone. be sure you vac your furniture that can be vacuumed.P.S. dont bother with the poison I can tell you none will work when you have those fleas, we had no pets either, weird I know.

Get some 7 Dust and spread it everywhere, carpets, furniture, but, makes "sure" the baby isnt around so that it doesnt get into the little ones lungs!
After a few days, vacumn the rugs, (toss out the sweeper bag when you do, because your getting eggs in there and they will hatch in the bag, and re-emerge again!).
Now, put the dust down again, and after another 3 days vacumn again. This should take care of the fleas. (be sure to toss that bag too!).
Go out in the yard and spread the 7 dust around everywhere!! It wont hurt the plants, and "thats" where your getting your feas from!
I wish you well...

Do that again and use Spectracide spray in corners and on carpet floors-all over. Don't miss any spots. That stuffis toxic, so you may need to move out for a couple days. It kills fleas, ticks, roaches, and ants. It would probably kill you if you sprayed enough and stayed.
