My wifes dog sneeks up to my side of our bed and runs of with my sock. It then offers in proudly to my wife.
What is happening here?

sounds as if your wife's dog is presenting her with a trophy. should close your door so the dog doesnt get to reach your socks

You must be happy that the dog does not bite holes in to your socks. Don't know why maybe to remind your wife that she must wash your socks

your lucky there, my dog pinches socks and chews the toes out of them making them useless many a day odd socks are worn
