Combined with very healthy eating and lots of water. Right now we usually do about 15 minutes of skipping followed by boxing focus pads and then maybe some sparring mediumly with some sit ups and push-ups. Going for runs on weeknights isn't really an option as we would have to drive to a nicer area. Any suggestions? The person trying to lose weight needs to lose around Five stone.

Plenty...

Walk on the spot in front of the television
Pace the floor when on the phone
Stretch your thighs against the wall while lying on the sofa
Run up and down the stairs
Do whatever exercises you wouldn't want to be seen doing at the gym

I did all these at home and walk out in the morning every weekday for an hour and lost 14 kg/ 31 pounds, of course with a change in diet.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

there is.. check out Fluidity!

i swear it works like magic

i did all those exercizes when i was a kid in choreography classes. I remember how flexible i was.. I started doing some of the exercises without getting the entire thing.. Not only i have lost 4 inches all over my body but i see how flexible my body is becoming.. for the first time in AGES, i can wear small size tshirt without feeling "i wish i could wear this" you can still do 90% of exercises you can do with a chair.. you dont use weights at all only flexing your natural muscles.

Run up and down the stairs. A very simple exercise but as you are running up an incline you will work harder and burn more calories. This will also prove to be a good workout for your legs.

I use a mini trampoline, also called a rebounder. Very good for cardio workout, and low impact on knees and back. It came with an excercise pamphlet.
