Australian Prime Minister John Howard has announced radical new plans to intervene in remote Australian Aboriginal communities. This week he has sent Australian Federal Police and the Australian Army into these remote communities to enforce his new ideas. These ideas include the ban of alcohol and the withholding Social Security payments to Aboriginal families. The Aboriginal peoples are reminded of the Stolen Generation era. This has resulted in a mass evacuation by Aboriginal families who are taking their children and running scared into the bush with nothing but the clothing on their backs...........................

To start with , lets get it correct before you gho spreadibng your propoganda. Tha ABC made up the story about the people fleeing into the bush (based on a few stories from their wanker alp mates), and it was found by one of their own reporters to be absolutely basis, (Murray Mclaughlin 7.30 report - two nights in a row) so stop witht he crap and get your facts right. Secondly if you lived in the NT you would see how bad the situation is and maybe you would not be so quick to judge. Stolen generation era is in the past, and this is something new. The government needs to help people that can't help themselves. Maybe you so called experts need to get out of your little comfort zones and come see what it really is like. Johnny has done something right for a change , and I fully support him, even though I am not a member of the Liberal PArty and hate the ALP, I think we need to give credit where it is due. Go Johnny. For you wanjkers that dont think it is an issue, read the report. See Below

Good question. I really do think that something needs to be done. I wish I knew what the answer was and what would help. I do not think that John Howard's plan will work, it is an election stunt to try to gain votes for something that he has been ignoring for way too long.

PS I agree, Johnny is a wanker.

More like "bring it back to the old days to get more votes" plan.

Simply said, he's pretending he's helping fix up the Aboriginal community to get more votes. My answer is strictly biased, I warn everyone. This is entirely my opinions:

John Howard never really likes anyone who isn't white. You see him going to any country non white, and he's always got a huge fake smile and treats many of them like children. He is very much like previous Prime Ministers who made horrific decisions against Aboriginal people - except most of those Prime Ministers with the exception of Menzies would probably not have done that now that the education of the ethics of it exists.

I think John Howard should think very carefuly at who is voting for him at the next election.

This is just another nail in his coffin.

I think wealfare and legal rep's should be posted at these communities to monitor and protect the children, but this should be done by educating the adults, not threatening to take their kid's away.

I think the aborigonal communities would have responded with much more enthusiasm if John Howard had not barged in with a stolen generation attitude.

John Howard is out in the next election, welcome labour back to power and get this country back to the way it was before the lib's got control and ruind this country.
