they make up a little less than than 10% of the force in iraq the US make up the next 88% with the last 2% divided between a few other countries.

I think there are only a few thousand British troops over in Iraq now.

Initially, there were 46,000 British who assisted the 250,000 invading American troops (about 16% of the overall invading force)
According to a speech Blair gave on the 21st there are approx. 7,100 British troops currently, mostly in Basra, but they're also in central Baghdad, compared to the 165,000 US troops (roughly 3% of all troops stationed in Iraq). I tell you what those Brits know their stuff, comparitively speaking Basra is nice.

Don't know the numbers for Afghanistan

According to some people none. It is only Americans. But they are just bashers of America and blame everything on the USA.
