Its time to go to the vet, it may not be that serious so you can't stress until you know. I had a dog that just fell one day, it didn't seem that serious at the time, but she started limping severely. After about the 2ND week I decided to take her to the vet thinking maybe it was a hairline fracture and she may need it set, but it turned out to be a urinary infection that required some medicine. I asked about the fall and the vet said that animals sometimes will fall when they have infections or other internal problems. It wasn't that serious since it was treated early, but it can become a serious problem if not treated.

Your dad is sad at the thought of something bad happening to your cat, but realy, something bad is already happening and it may be possible to prevent it getting worse.
I'm not sure where you live, but here in Sydney we hve a small insect called a 'tick' which can get on an animal and cause almost exactly the same symptoms as you are describing.
It is a simple matter for a vet to remove a tick, and there is medicien to help the animals.
But if you leave it too long, the animal could die.
Please ask your dad to take the cat to the vet, and let him know that you are doing so in a mature way because you have real concerns.
Best wishes and good luck :-)

Is the cat walking sideways and drooling constantly? Or is it that it keeps happening on and off again? The cat could possibly be having seizures. You need to get the cat to a vet asap. I know your dad doesn't want to hear anything that could be bad. But the longer you wait the worse it could be. If the cat has something that is very treatable and you wait too long, it may not be treatable because you waited. So try to make your dad understand that.

It is just obvious that your cat needs help. What he is going through is NOT good and your dad needs to know this if he likes it or not. The cat is suffering and bad news is no excuse to let it go on.
It could be anything from a neurological problem that can be treated like seizures to a virus, bacteria, or infection. Something is overwhelming your cat's system to the point he is loosing controll and it needs fixed by a vet and will not get better on its own.

You need to get that cat to the vet ASAP. It is likely it will be bad news but by not taking the cat you are just letting it suffer. If it is somthing the vet can help with than the sooner you get the help the better the chance you have to help the cat out.

The cat is already telling your dad something bad. It's cruel to let him suffer. Tell your dad you need to get the cat to a vet. For extreme measures call the ASPCA and have them tell him. Good Luck, hopefully you are not too late.

You should take him to the vet just in case. I know you don't want to hear bad news (we never do) but wouldn't you feel better knowing for sure he is okay? I know you wouldn't want him to be in any pain. Best case scenario, it was just the shock of the fall but I personally would want to hear that from a vet.

It sounds like for some reason your cat is having seizures. he can get severely injured also by waiting can actually make it worse. I would rather be given bad news than to find out that I waited to long and now she can't be cured because of waiting to long. the weekend is almost here get her in now.

We have a dog that does the same thing. Her blood sugar goes really low. At the onset of the problem try giving your cat a pinch of sugar. They won't want to take it, but pry their mouth open and stick it on their tongue. The problem usually goes away in a couple of minutes.
I hope this helps. God bless.
