In my recent series of questions, a Muslim with the term "JIHAADI" in his name and with a picture of a man dressed in terrorist garb openly admitted that he wanted Muslims to unite and conquer the world.

Amazingly, in my last question about this, a Muslim woman responded with:

Coolred38 “I do not believe that Salafi Jihaadi meant conquer as in kill or genocide...but as in to make sure Islam prevails as the only religion practiced by people” http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApdaRTp7jjkGDs4obUDq_urd7BR.?qid=20070628043603AAKLFwx

In my mind, there can be no doubt that she knows exactly what he meant. So why did she lie?

How common is this, do english speaking Muslims commonly lie about the true disposition of the Islamic community and the popularity of the Jihadist idealogy?

Its time to start crusades or be ready to lose your freedom, democracy and technology. They spread their religion by using purely barbaric methods. As far as history is concerned, they either force others to convert or kill them. They elope the women forcefully and thus covert them to Islam. That was how Islam spread in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.

I lived in Saudi Arabia for a while, and I would say they want to rule the world in any way possible. It is the will of Allah.
I also don't understand their reasoning when it regards violence.
Among Christians, if someone even remotely associated to Christianity does something violent, we will rat him out in a heartbeat. While many Christians didn't like the way Waco was handled, they removed themselves far from David Koresh and his teachings, not that he was necessarily a nutcase, but that he was a violent nutcase, or potentially so.
Lets go to the Muslims. Many say they are peaceful. This is good, but when the radical elements of Islam throw twenty decapitated bodies into the streets of Baghdad, not a peep is heard. The same with the Internet beheadings.
But when someone makes a derogatory cartoon about Mohamed, they protest in the hundreds of thousands. Over 100 people died world-wide from the rioting.
What gives?
In my eyes, Muslims cover for Muslims, no matter who they are.
The peaceful ones say nothing, and probably send 'charity' donations to the radical groups.
Others do not actively participate in the killing, but hide the ones that do.
Then you have the foaming at the my psycho-paths who carry out the will of Allah with a dull sword and a bomb belt.
One example of an event in Baghdad: A cab driver had a man get into his cab. He told the cab driver just to drive around Baghdad for a while. After about an hour, he told the driver to pull over. He paid the driver his fee, and said "well, I guess we will not have lunch with the Prophet today", and opened up his jacket, revealing a bomb belt. He then got out of the cab and left.
He was looking for an American patrol to blow up. The cab driver (probably after changing his pants), reported this to the authorities.
If the Muslims really are for peace, and dont want their name and their faith dragged through the mud, they need to drag the scumbag elements among them to the authorities, and protest all the violence that their people are doing.

Yes. Lies do abound. In those countries for example, when an official report is read by some government official that talks about disarming and peace or cease-fire, or whatever- the people KNOW it's a cover up, since no one practicing Islam can declare a peace. They can only declare a war. Cease fires are only for the purpose of having the time to re-strengthen their army. People build their schools, but they are named after suicide bombers, their "martyrs"
They do intend on making sure theirs is the only religion, and if they do it by force now, and to their own people, anyone else won't be spared either.

Islam in Arabic does not mean peace but submission. If Muslims say they are a religion of peace let them explain the following.

In Sura 2:216, Allah, their God, is supposed to have said this to Muslims: "Fighting is prescribed upon you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing, which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth and ye know not."

Here we see some reluctance on the part of Muslims to fight; but Allah tells them, "I know what is good for you."

There are many Suras in the Quran, which prove beyond doubt that Islam is a religion of violence. Islamic Fundamentalists have used these teachings to justify their actions. Jihad is not a one-time event. It is a continuing operation until the entire world is converted to Islam.

"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, … nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book [Jews and Christians]" (Sura 9:29). Anyone who thinks we can achieve a lasting peace in the Middle East needs to have his head examined.

Muslims say that these Suras apply only during the time of Muhammad. But the Quran does not explicitly or implicitly say that. In fact, Islam divides the world into two houses: The House of Islam and the House of War. The goal of Islam is to dominate the world and Muslims believe they are justified in using violence to achieve this goal.

Of course, there are many Muslims who do not subscribe to the literal interpretation of the Quran. I have known many Muslims and I know the majority of Muslims just want peace and the well being of their families.

What Islam needs right now is a reform movement. There are many traditions and teachings of Islam, which are no longer relevant today. Women's rights and religious intolerance are just two, which come to mind.

Unfortunately, Christians are also guilty of sins against Muslims: prejudice, racism and fear. We are often separated from our Muslim friends because of them.

Still, we must witness to our Muslim friends about Christ, the Prince of Peace, whose love surpasses all misunderstandings.

Peace and blessings!

You write as if 'Jihadi' Muslims or extremists are the majority. That's unfair to the Islamic community. The overwhelming majority simply want peace- to be safe and secure wherever they are living.

Are you saying that extremists only exist in Islam? You have Christian and Jewish extremists who also want to 'conquer the world'.

English speaking Muslims do not commonly lie about the true disposition of the Islamic community as you so put it. That sentence in itself reeks of xenophobia. You fear a religion simply because you feel like you can't access it through language, and anyone speaking the language you speak and a part of this religion you fear is not to be trusted. Poor you.

Terrorist Garb?

I'm sorry if this offends you, but you've just shown predjudice by judging someone by their name, clothing and race.

True Muslims believe that if there is unity by those who practice Islam, that others will come to see Islam as the true faith and that everyone will be together with God as one.

Lazy Muslims believe, much like any other extremist group, that they are right, and better, and more justified for their actions than anyone else and use religion as a platform for hatred or power.

Why was this lady lying? It could just be that she refused to judge someone and was giving them the benefit of the doubt, or projecting her own vision of her religion as she sees it.

In Islam, it's considered a noble and GOOD thing to lie and deceive your enemy if it's in the cause of furthering Islam. Treaties aren't worth the paper they're written on when Muslims are involved. Their intention is to conquer the world by aggressive terrorism or by quietly changing laws peacefully from within.

Yes, without atom bombs. Islam conqueres the hearts and minds. Never can a religion be successful if conquered by force. Where are the communists and other great ideologies that came through time and disappeared. But Islam prevails and keeps growing. Once Islam is accepted it is accepted from heart.

The idea of Islam as a "religion of peace" is being aggressively marketed. Either she really believes it is true or she is one of the marketers.
