can someone please explain the process of getting snakebite piercings?

First, they clean it.
Second, they ask you where exactly you want it pierced and they mark it.
Third, MAYBE the piercer will put numbing medicine. Mines didn't.
Fourth, they put on the clamp and place the needle.
Fifth, they tell you to take a deep breathe and then it's in!

Then after that, they put in your stud and your good to go.

If your piercer does piercings freehand, they'll hold your lip and pierce from the inside. (from my experiences.)
