If you don't like the religion don't pass it on. Don't deprive your children from finding their own relationship with God.

If your parents were dumb enough to drink some poisoned water like their parents, would you drink it too, and give it to your own children? I think you know the answer if you know it's a dumb religion.

There is many religions that is dumb, But True salvation is different from religion, It is an experince with God. And every person will have to make their own decision on themselves, You can teach a child a dumb religion, But if they are a chosen seed of God, God will deal with them & bring them through all dumb religions unto true Salvation.

If your children can speak, I'd say don't force them into a dumb religion. I know that sign language and lip reading can do wonders, but I do think that some of the majesty of scripture can get lost. Then there's the hymns; believe me, they are nowhere near as inspiring when signed.

Absolutely not. If they are in a false religion and your in a false religion, dont pass down a false religion to your kids? But make sure the religion is false. For example, find out do they believe god is a trinity? the immortality of the soul? hellfire? These are all teachings created in Babylon--false religion itself. Do not be misled--question things. Acts 17:11 says we need to "carefully examine the scriptures daily as to whether these things are so."

Well, I would say you probably already know the answer to the question my friend, and you just wanted a way to express frustration or even anger toward God or your parents.
Remember...God, or the Creator of the Universe, obviously isn't dumb...but sometimes, fallible human beings and their expression of or understanding of God is often dumb. That's why we have grace...to get us through our dumb moments.
Find out who you are, what you believe, and don't try to pass it on to your kid. He/She will find those things out when they are contemplating life just as you are.
We all have "dumb" moments, but try to educate yourself on issues you care about..that's the only way out sometimes.

If you think it's dumb, let your children decide what religion they want to follow for themselves.

Well, if you were an Atheist like some of us you would give your child both arguments and let them make up their own mind. Alas, most parents just shove religion down their children's throat.
