first someone has to prove that we have global warming. to prove it they have to be able to measure an increase in green house gases. to date no scientist has been able to see any increase. global warming is nothing more than several companies that have banded together to sell their products to people world wide. best ad campaign i have ever seen.

Actually it is true that every couple of years, global warming occurs, however in recent years, the trend hasn't quite been the same. There was recently a kind of documentary released called "An Inconvenient Truth" that explains a lot about Global Warming. It is in recent years that the situation has gotten worse. The General trend would be that every few years it suddenly gets a bit worse, but it will get better. However, it has only gotten worse these few years...

Catalytic converters are quite important, because of carbon emission from vehicles. Even factories can use them. Use clean fuel, burn gas or liquid fuel for energy instead of burning coal. Plant more trees!! A LOT more trees...

cutting carbon emissions through better use of resources all though i am currently working on the effect of global warming with the Swedish arctic survey monitoring the ice cap thickness and the general consensus is that its all ready to late and that global warming is a natural phenomenon that generally occurs a couple of hundred years be for an ice age over the worlds life span there have been many fluctuations in water height and temperature increases so stay tuned for the documentary i am currently filming on this the film the day after tomorrow is looking more like reality than people want to believe allthough this is still cutting edge theories you teachers will probably want the bog standard answer even though its wrong so go with carbon emissions

i think that all this stuff about global warming is a load of s**t .
i think its just the end of the ice age, and then the gulf stream will stop, and the earth will plumit into another ice age. every 100,000 approx. there's an ice age, and were over due.
the reason why its gettin so hot, is cos maybe the worlds goin to become tropical again.

i dont think you should put that in an essay if u want top marks, but it may be different to everyone elses.

We need to reduce pollution by limiting our use of fossil fuels. We can do that by using solar power, fuel cells, nuclear power and just making things a lot more efficient. Global warming is not anything we can change. The Earth's environment is designed to handle CO2 and other greenhouse gasses. The plants absorb CO2 and convert it to oxygen for us to breath. More CO2 in the environment just makes the plants healthier and more productive at converting CO2 to oxygen. I believe the man made global warming issue is blown out of proportion.

Hi,

There's lots of things that you can do to help reduce global warming, rather than list them all here please have a look at this webpage - http://profend.com/global-warming/pages/combat.html

The page has been adapted and condensed from a report I wrote and if you want to copy from the page that's fine. Check out the links as well, there's lots more info on those sites.

I just read about this site from the wall street journal. It's called the Carbon Diet Plan, which lists ways to improve one's ecological profile "and provides inspiration for your friends to do the same."
