Does anyone have any suggestions for the best image and photo editing software. I'm after something that doesn't chew up much room and loads very quick... It needs to have the ability to easily resize and watermark photos...

JPEG for light weight image and Adobe photoshop for photo editing.

Picasa for fast sorting and emailing lowres photos.
Photoshop Elements for resizing and watermarks.
Picasa = free

Try Goole's PICASA. It's very light and simple with wizards to handle many stuff. Its free too.
