there was word about 03/03/2003 as the year of the trinity, then came 06/06/2006 as the year of man and now 07/07/2007.. in my opinion all these are just dates and and do not restrict God from doing His will. the bible says that no one knows the hour and that Christ will come back like a thief. all you and i need to do is to live everyday in a manner that pleases God and forget about all these speculations that only lead to empty contreversies.

There is no basis for the assertion that 7/7/07 will be significant in any way. What are they basing this on? I don't recall anything spectacular happening on 7th July 1977.

Haven't heard that, but I recall 7/7/77 when I thought it was a sign from God that I could clean up big time in Las Vegas. "What better sign?" I said to myself, "than to go to Vegas on 7/7/77 and leave on 7/11/77." So off I went in a new car with a load of cash only to have to walk the 1,250 miles back home home buck naked.

No... think about it... the calender isn't exact... Christ was more than likely not born on December 25th... today isn't really the 28th of June... Our calender is based solely on the stipulation of men who looked at the stars... the 7th day of July in the year 2007 is no more special than the day before it or after it...
I'm sure there was some other guy wondering the same thing you are back in 1907, 1807, 1707 and so on...

Haven't heard that one yet. God isn't into specific dates when it comes to prophecy. He never gave an exact date for Christ's birth. He never indicated when the catching away of the church is going to be. That's left a lot of people guessing about certain times and seasons.

That's just a date on the Calendar! God doesn't use our calendar to fulfill His prophecies. Remember when people were saying, last year, that June 6. 2006, something was going to happen?
It's all just rumors; and if we are following Christ, we'll be aware of coming events!
