Earlier tonight, I came across some questions posted by trolls. And suddenly, I remembered that fairy tale, the one about the Three Billy Goats Gruff who destroyed the troll...so thinking may be it would lighten things up, I posted "Where are the Three Billy Goats Gruff when you need them?" in answer to the troll's questions.
No one got it. Has everyone here forgotten that story, or is R & S filled with people who have no sense of humor?

I'm only twenty, and I heard it when I was a kid...damnit, now I feel like I'm getting old!

That's pretty d**n funny! I love that story. I, too, am amazed at how many people on here do not get jokes or references to "pop culture" or fairy tales. Maybe they should start reading more than the bible.

I remember that story and used it in answer to someones question, what is a troll? they thought there was no such word. The troll lived under the bridge and the goats were afraid to cross because the troll would get and eat them, Billy solved the problem. Now, I'm kinda old and I read that story many, many years ago but I still remember some of it!

I have seen a distinct lack of humor here at times. I always loved the Billy Goats Gruff story. I think its a very good reference. I just got up, so I didnt see it.

Maybe no one thought it was as funny as you did. I think some of these folks are hysterical. Tragic Typos is hysterical.

Yes, there are people here who have a sense of humor. How do you know that NO ONE GOT IT? Sometimes I see stuff like that, smile or laugh, but don't respond.

You must not know many Christians, kazoo. All the ones I know love fairy tales. Most of them love Harry Potter, too.
You must not know the right kind of Christians. They're not all the same.

I can hardly remember that story. But yes, we do have senses of humor. I think there's actually a lot in this category. More so than in Pets or Education etc.

I remember the story, but I think people in R&S are just too uptight to care. Lighten up people, Life is meant to be LIVED!

I've seen that a lot here. A lot of people take themselves too seriously, and don't take God seriously enough. It's the perfect climate for humor reduction.

I don't know how old you are, but I don't know if kids hear that story any more. Maybe that's the reason...just taking a guess.
Personally, I think it was a good joke!
