I have a lot of Polish friends and they are all really very sweet and fun to be around. I don't think it's very fair for you to brand all Polish people boring or annoying based on an experience with one person.

We have a lot of Polish workers here and they are all full of life, hard working and funny. They are very nice people. I don't think it is the fact that he is Polish, it is his personality that is driving you crazy.

Ummm. You're kinda generalising I think... I met a Polish chick at a party last weekend and she was a great laugh and really hot too.

I know a few Polish people and from the ones I've met, they seem nice, fun loving people.

Sounds like a case of lost in translation. Maybe his english translated jokes only have a funny punchline in his own language. Just make friends and give him a bit of sympathy, hes moved to a country with a better job and wage and has the advantage of speaking our language. Dont generalise or stereotype it can be seen as racism.

I know loads of Polish people and, funnily enough, some of them are boring and some of them aren't. Hey...you know...that's kind of like every other nationality!
