im importing from china how long does it take for a container to take to come from china and how often do they run many thanks all

China to Where? The west coast of the US is done often in 20 days. If you have a good agent in Cal you can actually have your cargo cleared by customs on the boat and ready for immediate delivery. If you are serious I can give you an email address of an agent that handles a lot of business for several companies that I know. I just had a shipment of books and household stuff shipped LA to Saigon. It came by way of Korea and took 22 days. Vietnam customs was a mess but it is for everyone. Especially on personal goods.

ships come and go all the time but depending on where they call in at it can be from 6 weeks to 3 months i used to import bamboo from guangzhou and that was the time scale that worked for me

Anything between 4 and 12 weeks depending upon route, carrier, and weather!
