Everything that you guys said can be sumed up in one sentence: "When politicians can't agree, guns continue the conversations" War is just a continuation of policy through different means... that's all.
What we get in return though is... well Eisenhower put it pretty well: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron."
Draft beer, not soldiers ;)

War is cause by one thing... SIN.

All other reasons are secondary. When a man or Country puts their needs or desires before that of God and others War is the result. It could be a war between two individuals, two counties or just the war that goes on between two ideas with in each of us. BE Humble, forgive and look to serve others with out seeking personal gain.
