Brian, you seem obsessed with "bloody Sunday"
If the British Army apologised for every innocent killed in a war situation, it would take some time, although not nearly as long as it would take PIRA to apologise for their atrocities.
The soldiers were employed by the queen and I have no doubt you would like to see her locked up too!
"if anyone knew anything about history" well I guess you think you are the only one who knows history !
For every history book you read, I can produce another that says the opposite. History is subjective and any book written is from the perspective of an author and rarely 100% true.
Why should anyone apologise, we gave early release to your PIRA murdering scum friends to placate people like you.
Just think yourself lucky that poodle Blair was in charge, if it had of been Thatcher your type would still be starving them selves to death and covering themselves in sh1t in the H blocks, so why not draw a line and move on, every other right thinking person has!

I want no apology from the paras, at the least I want them locked up for life for shooting down unarmed men.

But listen, we will always remember and honour those who did die on Bloody Sunday and in not too much more time, beidh ár lá linn.

Edit: Martin B., they were civil rights marchers - trying to bring attention to the unjust internment of Republicans. They had NO guns, NO nail bombs - NO weapons on them, and nor did the RA soldiers amongst them have any weapons on them.

I do not think we will ever get the truth in this I do remember a Para NCO standing in front of his men shouting "Cease fire" A very brave man he could have been shot. I suspect that Martin Mugginess and his crowd know a lot about who opened fire. I notice that they refused to testify on Oath, i wonder why?

we British dont apologize for Anything. 28, thousand men, women, and children died in the concentration camps we built in S/africa during the Boer WAR, and We Won that War. Do you expect us to apologize for bombing DRESDEN, killing over 80, thousand in the ww2? the majority civilians! Whats 13 dead compared to this?? And forget about Narrow Water, Warrenpoint where 18, of our lads died...all PARAS who didnt serve in Derry........... British Protestant Pacifist.......
