If you have money then lend him some until he gets paid or has some. Treat others as you would like to be treated afterall.

I really dont see a problem paying for a man as I have been with my partner over a year and I know he is currently unemployed. You shouldnt even feel guilty or that hes stealing off you. You can even lend boyfriends money without expecting it back. He cant take you for a ride but helping a guy through a money shortage shows you care about him.

it depends on how close you are to your boyfriend, how long you have known him and how often he is asking/hinting for hand-outs
sometimes you have a boyfriend that is just going through a tight spot and when you are in a position to help them then that is a good thing for the relationship , however it has not been unknown for people to just use their girlfriends/boyfriends for whatever they can get out of them and it is up to you to be a bit smart about judging which type of person they are.

when i exhange money between either a b/f or a friend then i always think of it as a gift as a loan can cause problems in the long run. so i think to myself can i afford to never see this money again? before deciding whether or not to lend it.

Id give it to him in the form of a loan, provided I knew he would give it back to me!!
(a) because I hate the fact of knowing that people owe me money and it bugs me when they feel they dont have to return it when they have it and
(b) I dont think a guy would really like to have a woman support him -even if his luck and savings are down - I feel most men would prefer to pay it back and have a clear slate.

I have given an ex of mine money before and he never paid it back although when he came into money again he seemed to prefer to spend it on booze and fags - it just played on my mind after about how he didnt seem to care that I had given him a large amount of money and he wasnt going to give it back!
My advice to you would be to discuss this with your boyfriend - ask him if he would be prepared to accept the money as a loan and then depending on the size of it, state clearly that you will be needing it back. Obviously I wouldnt be too bothered about a small load of a hundred quid or so - but in my case I loaned my ex two thousand.
xx

some guys might find it insulting if a girl has to lend him money.so my answer would be NO.its not adviseable.you can on the other hand buy take out meals and bring it over to his place because you "wanted" and eat-in date with him.but dont give him cash.you seriously do not want to be a walking ATM.just imagine, he got use to asking you to lend him some cash but you're currently short on cash yourself but you're thinking if you dont lend him money he would think that you' dont trust him...thats a real dillema.

Not always.....its alright to give him money if he really needs it, just dont go into that "sinking sand" where he would always ask for it thinking u can always give it to him (specially if u really have the wealth, u know what i mean) and if u dont want to give no more he would say this " u dont love me" crap!

Never, you are castrating him. Just do things that are low or no cost and stand by him until times get better, and they will. paying the way is the start of the end.
