If you love someone, you want to tell everybody about the person you love, right?
But when I asked him why he never tell his friends that I'm special for him, he said "cos it's private".
What does that mean? I never heard love someone is a private thing.

He doesnt have a male friends, all of his friends are woman.

Some guys are just weird when it comes to telling their mates how they feel about girls - i think they think it makes them look less macho or something, but i say don't push him, it will happen if he's serious about you but let it happen in his time though!!

I agree if you love someone you do want to tell other people but sometimes guys can be different than us girls. You might find that his mates have got a lot to do with it, especially if they don't feel the same way about a girl themselves, then they're liable to "stir" him about it! It's hard to say really but often peer pressure can have a lot to do with matters of the heart.

maybe he's shy when it comes to telling his friends. some guys get weird about using the word "love". the feel funny saying it. especially if you two are young. don't worry about it, everyone will figure it out when they see you two together all the time.

It means that he keeps his feelings to himself. I am like your boyfriend. I didn't wear my heart on my sleeve and tell everyone how I felt about my boyfriend (husband now) I thought it was special and something just for he and I to share.
I am outgoing in all other respects just reserved about intimacy thats all.

some time some people feel , love is private. may be feeling love should not be tomed tomed

It doesn't mean that he loves you any less. He is just the type of guy that he doesn't like to discuss his feelings, even with his mates.

Because he does not want someone to know, for some reason. Sounds very suspicious. Tell him that either he starts acknowledging you as his girlfriend, or it is over. You deserve better than that. Have respect for yourself, and demand it from others!!
