There is nothing "comforting" (John 16:7) about Muhammed to anyone who believes the Old or New Testament of the Bible!

Furthermore, I thought you believed that Jews and Christians corrupted the Bible. Why do you look for prophecies of the coming of Muhammed in a book you believe to be corrupt? And if you find him in a corrupt book, then doesn't that make him corrupt and a false prophet?

Muhammad is not prophesied in the Bible. The Comforter Christ refers to is the Holy Spirit that descended upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit dwells within men and gives Christians courage and comfort in the hour of hardship. The Holy Spirit convicts us in our hearts if we sin so that we are led away from that sin.
The Holy Spirit does have influence upon our interpretations of the Gospel to help us understand what is meant by the Word. It does not create the different denominations/sects of Christianity, but it does prevent the different sects from straying from the core meaning of Christ's divine nature, death on the cross and resurrection as atonement for the sins of mankind.
It is my opinion that Muhammad was a false prophet and an instrument of Satan sent to mislead through the use of half-truths and lies.
There is only one God, the God of Abraham. And He has decreed that the wages of sin is death. There is only one way to avoid that decree and that is through the salvation of Christ, who is that part of God that took on flesh to dwell among men.
He is the way. He waits for you. His Word is in the Gospels and it is there that you will find peace and true freedom.
