I just woke up from one of the scariest dreams of my life! That is why I am up at 3:30 AM. This girl who I feel very close to is a little stressed out(in the dream that is). We end of getting closer past the friendship due to her need of someone, or so I think. Everyone is trying to help her with her situation even though there actually is no major problem to state or so I believe. The next day, I am driving along a neighborhood street, and she is hung off a tree... I instantly woke up totally shocked and even had some tears in my eyes. What does this mean?

Sometimes, our dreams can be as wild as our own thoughts and imaginations, even wilder. So, not everything in the dream means what it does.

What the dream could mean is this: the stressed out girl more likely represents yourself, or at least that lonely aspect of yourself. If you are stressed about having a relationship, it can come across in your dreams as that 'person' being the one thats panicking. The getting 'closer' is your mind saying that you want to get closer to the problem: your fears of not having a relationship. The 'everyone else' are the opinions from those other aspects of yourself (and of other people, so you believe) that say that this problem is 'no big deal'. However, since it is a big deal to the 'girl', and because she believers no one is listening to her, she 'kills' herself, or more precisely, your fear (that you will never get closer to someone) kills her, to represent your fear that you will NEVER be with someone. A good way to represent something never happening is if that thing 'dies'.

It could be that your feelings for the girl are becoming more than just 'friendly' and that you think that you will be the only one who takes it seriously, which, if it ruined your friendship/relationship with her, would be so heartbreaking for you it would be as bad as 'dying'.

So, if that is truly what is going on, go slowly and see what happens. Friendships, true friendships, can always be repaired.

hi it just means that you are worried about loosing her as a friend, real life affects our subconsious mind greatly, yes, there have been odd cases where dreams do come true, but i think that is a very rare thing.

I think you are closer to this person than you realise and rest assured she probably holds you dear, too, try talking it through with your friend, feelings do run deep although are not always spoken.

Death in dreams doesn't usually symbolize death. Death tends to be a symbol of something ending or changing. It could either mean that your friendship may start to fade with her if not addressed, or it can represent limitations placed on you involved in that friendship.
