Munching ice should not harm your health. It will indeed harm your teeth to the extent it will cause sensitive teeth and gum, and cracked molars.
You probably will not feel the negative effects now, but when you get sensitive teeth and gum, you will feel sharp pain when you take cold or hot food and drinks.
A cracked molar will cause you pain until you extract it. My husband experienced it, although he didn't munch on ice. As a young man, he liked to use his teeth to crack any hard shells to get to the food. So....
If you like ice, just let it melt in your mouth. That's what I do in hot sunny Singapore, and that's what my two sons do too.

This is a huge health problem. It may not seem like it but it's a form of Anorexia. It's a common "trick" anoretics use to keep the edge off hunger. You instill a false sence of being full with ice cubes, because they are in fact a substance in your stomach. But then they melt and it comes out as urine. You aren't getting addicted to it, you cannot get addicted to ice cubes, although you are enjoying the "i'm technically eating and feeling satisified, and i'm losing a lot of weight at the same time." Ice cubes contain NO helping vitamins or carbs or calories to help your body maintain itself. You will most likely experience things anoretics commonly experience (blue fingers / toes, rapid weight loss, low tolerance to cold, etc.) and it's very dangerous. Anorexia Nervosa is a very serious and fatal DISEASE. This is not a sickness and won't just "go away." This disease effects you emotionally, physically and mentally for the rest of your life if you let it go far enough. I would recommend you listen to your parents or get help through a psychiatrist.

It might give you sensitive teeth or be too hard for your teeth, but I can't see it harming you. I would just drink water instead of eating ice.
How much you should drink (and this includes ice) depends on your height and weight. Over drinking can cause problems just as dehydration.

You will probably chip a tooth...from all the crunching, but its just water so you arent getting any nurtrion from this... and if you are trying to lose weight and become anorexic..STOP! Seriously...its not worth it and chances are you are just doing it for attention. So, eat some real snacks and stop trying to weigh 90lbs.

Very nice, that is what we give our patients here at the hospital when they are to be kept NPO. It will not harm you, better for you than candy!! I wish I could do that everytime I was hungry :)
