what are the symtoms of breast cancer?

are all the lumps in breast located near armpit? what is the feeling of the lump in the breast? is there a possibility that is not breast cancer but still can feel lump?

Fluid (not milk) leaking from the nipple
Change in size or shape of the nipple
Changes of color, shape or texture of the nipple or the areola

Be careful-all the rules and symptoms might be true, but others are also true. I had pain. Everyone says you don't. The reason is my tumor in my breast was stepped on by my little dog. But because it was painful, and went away, I didn't go to the doctor.

Also, my mammogram did not pick up the lump because my lump was in an unusual place, far below and to the middle. Somehow it didn't get in the mammo.

Ignor everyone and if you have ANY symptom AT ALL go to the doctor. Each person and situation is different.

No they can be anywhere on the breast or armpit including the nipple. The lump will feel like a mass small or large. Yes it could be enlarged milk ducts, infection in a lymph node, fibroids or cysts.

and in inflammatory cancer oedema and erythema may be seen. There may be some non-specific symptoms such as

Axillary lymph nodes that are fixed to skin or deep structure indicates advanced disease.


What other disease you should consider?
There are several other diseases which may also gives same symptoms and signs as breast cancer. So these
disease can be excluded by obtaining a tissue biopsy of the site. Some other disease to consider are:
Mammary dysplasia(cystic disease of the breast)
Fibroadenomas
Intraductal papilioma
Lipoma
fat necrosis
