Last night I watched Rambo 3 for the first time since I was about 12. It seemed ironic that he goes to Afghanistan and helps the local guerillas fight the Russians when now these people are fighting the Americans. What would the Americans say now if the Russians were to make a film and call it Boris 3 where he goes to Afghanistan and helps the Afghans fight the evil Americans. They could put in a scene where he rescues a Russian commander (in Rambo 3 it was Colonal Tautman from Soviet captivity) from a place like Abu Grahab or Guantanamo. They could then single handedly fight and beat the entire US army and at the end as in Rambo 3 they could say, this film is dedicated to the gallant people of Afghanistan. What would the Americans say if a film like this were to be made since they made a film like this thenmselves in the 1980's?

Are u aware the United States sold guns and ammo and trained the Afgans to fight the Russians in the 80's in real life? So the firepower and the training we gave them, they are now using to kill our service personnel.

Actually you can find those movies. In Russia, the Soviet Union and some other countries, the U.S. government (specifically in most cases the CIA) was the bad guy. You might see Boris shoot down a C-130 gunship from 5k out with just his sling shot because he was just that good of a soldier.

man, tha´d be awsome.... but it would definatly have to be a comody....

I would laugh my áss off, i did just reading your little story....

in honestly, those arabs are back-stabbing bastards.... we helped all those jihadist.... we were just to ignorant to realize that they hate everyone... and at the time they hated the soviets more than the americans..... it had something to do with that saying," the enemy of my enemy is a friend" or smth like that, and for these bungholes it turns out to be 100% false....

we even helped bin laden, and he turns around and does 9-11 to us... we need to stop being the "good guys" for like 2 weeks and show these bastards we mean business... and if they don´t knock all these bombing off, we´ll make it so there´s nothing left to bomb.

Rambo 3 is not a documentary... it's a fictional story.

Probably think of it as just Soviet propaganda.
