Just strong feelings I had at given moments, how I felt in general, what I looked like somewhat. I find that my memories grow hazier with each passing year, as if they are slowly fading away as new memories are taking their place. My first memory I think is from when I was 6. Some of the memories I have are probably just memories of someone else telling me something happened, even though I may not actually remember that event taking place.

I remember in 1971 when I got my driver's license, gasoline was 25 cents a gallon.
Also, remember candy bars 5 cents each as a kid. Coke in little glass bottles (still available) was the norm. Use to walk along country roads & pick up the pop bottles to turn into the grocery for cash. Those pop bottle deposits added up fast.

I remember a lot of things from my childhood. I used to think then that I was my daddy's favorite. I thought then that I would have a say in my life...those are just empty thoughts. The bubble burst and there was nothing..

i used to babysit in the 6th grade. on weekends. with my babysitting money me and my friend would go real early and go horsebackriding along the riverbed. if you were the first to get the horses before they were tired, uno, and in the morning....the horses would run real fast! we would chain the horses to a post (without worry of anyone taking them) and then with our quarter (.25) we would buy a coke, a hotdog and a popsicle at Dooley's Hardware store. :) Then ride the horses back even faster....cuz the horses couldnt wait to get back to the stables...it was so much fun and such a rush!
