Sorry, I don't mean to offend you. A good friend of mine has a boyfriend in Bulgaria. Anyways, if you have arnold chiari syndrome and have already had surgery, the question is are you having symptoms? Fatigue, dizziness, vertigo, neuropathic pain, visual disturbances, difficulty swallowing, ringing in the ears, sleep apnea, impaired fine motor skills, muscle weakness, and palpitations are other common symptoms. Most commonly you may experience headache or nausea. A "red flag" would be if your symptoms are getting worse. This means that the flow of CSF is being blocked again, and you should see the same surgeon that did your surgery soon. As for the syringomylia, are you having symptoms? or is it a radiographic diagnosis that has been given to you? You most likely have Arnold Chiari type I, not type II, since type I is associated with syringomylia. If you are asymptomatic with regards to the syrinx, no surgery is needed. If you are having symptoms, the syrinx may need to be drained with a cather, valves, etc... Once again, it is important to know if the symptoms are getting worse, and if so, over what period of time or how rapidly. I would just go see a doctor if you have easy access and see what they advise. Hope that helps.

Your doctor must have prescribed something. In case he didn`t you need no more than 500 micrograms of Cynocobalamine (B 12) weekly.
