and its 20 minutes fast, what time is it? also what time is it if its 20 minutes slow? my brain has gone crazy, i know its an easy question, but i have a 5 year slow brain, so help me out plz

If your clock is 20 min fast, then the time is actually 3:40
If the clock is 20 min slow, the the time is actually 4:20
for fast, subtract number of minutes ahead from the time the clock gives. 1 hour = 60 minutes. 60 - 20 = 40 minutes.
for slow, add # of minutes clock is behind to the time it gives.
4:00 + 0:20 = "4:20" BUT methinks you should lay off the bud. ;-)

20 minutes slow means the clock is behind, so the real time would be 4:20
