Depends on your definition of used. If your definition of "used" means rounding a truck load of them up...bringing them back to my place...having them mow the lawn...tend to my landscaping...clean the pool...do a little routine mait. on my roof...wash my car...scrub the driveway....then paying them by calling the INS and turning them in to be deported then yes...I am guilty.
If your definition of "used" is actually paying them to do something then no...guess I never have.

Yes, when I paid a local contractor good money to paint my house and he sent workers who were obviously illegal, and incompetent! Two out of the five did not even know how to safely prop up a ladder against a house or the correct technique for using a brush! I was stuck with the contract, but the next time I needed work, I asked a lot of questions about the crew that would be sent and got people who appeared to be either American born or who had lived here for at least several years. So we can all get hooked into using illegal labor, one way or another.
Great story, by the way!

No.Resently we move some furniture into storage and got a U-haul truck. We were curious has to how much a day laborer would be.We re getting older and our stuff keeps getting heavier.Anyways they laborer wanted $10. cash an hour! Tax free! We moved everything ourselfs and took a big rest afterwards.Inside of the U-haul co. you can get someone to help you move for $15. an hour, legally.

no but about 12 years ago I was doing light construction in an area of town that has alot of immigrants and one would come by every day trying to sell us stuff he had in a backpack.
I dont know if this guy was illegal or not for sure.
I offered him some money to clean up some carpet scraps in the yard after we had just put carpet in this house... it was 15 minutes work and he said no. But he asked for two dollars to go buy something to eat. I asked him why he woudl ask for two dollars but wouldnt earn 10 doing a few minutes work and he just made some excuse and went over toward the plasma donor clinic that was right down the street. shrug.

I have met and conversed with many day laborers, and I WILL say that those I have met are not only hard working, but friendly, positive, and good-humored. One is so jovial that he likes singing while he works diligently. This is contrary to the popular belief that they are overgeneralized as being lazy. I was able to speak to them on a level that most of you do not even dare to. What I see on these forums is how many of you dehumanize and criminalize our brothers and sisters. Stop the hate!

You are completely right about what you said. But taking into account that we live in the globalization era. It will be difficult to get your country back. Spain is full from people from Ecuador and South America,England full of Muslims. Stocolm full of Turkish involved evry nite in shoot outs. You will have to take into account that Most people who work in MCDONALD'S or Costco or walmart they are legal immigrants, they might not be legal residents yet but they hold a temporary protected status, why? Because people from El Salvador, Honduras get tps renew for 18 months more. (They sent troops to IRAQ, they are the ones who keep the oil safe in IRAQ while us troops fight. I am not from El Salvador much less I am in favor or defending them.
And about illegal immigrants they usually work in construction in the kitchen as dishwashers, where they perform very hard work. hell no I wouldn't do what they do. Go to Florida to the farms and see how they live over there. I bet you wouldn't want to do that kind of job or get on a roof, Thta's scary. You are completely right about McDonald's but you should complain to your republican buddies. Who gave tps to people from those countries and the have now social security and 401k and they can take a good position without knowledge don't take all Hispanics are Mexicans.
Kind regards
Alf
By the way they tried to clean up the country before but they did a research study that if they deported all illegal immigrant the economy would be a mess. Welcome to the global world.

No and I never will. At my moms shop if she needs extra work done and we are all too busy with our kids or other business, she uses local kids and pays them, not some illegal.
