Well, I am supposing you want the scientific answer. I believe that Ra, the sun god began it all, but you want an explanation you will understand.
You see there was the big bang, the universe exploded, distributing equal force at all angles. Thus the galaxies were formed. Life began on one planet in our galaxy, this happened from particles forming together to form microscopic organisms. these organisms grew to living things in the course of time. as the species got bigger the closer they became to extinction. when life could no longer survive on that one planet, it would end up starting all over again on a new planet either by the transporting of microscopic organisms through meteors or by the particle combination. this happened until at last life came to earth, and the circle of life will continue on forever.

That is called "the Plan of Salvation"
In the premortal existence, Heavenly Father prepared a plan to enable us to become like Him and receive a fulness of joy. The scriptures refer to this plan as "the plan of salvation" (Alma 24:14; Moses 6:62), "the great plan of happiness" (Alma 42:8), "the plan of redemption" (Jacob 6:8; Alma 12:30), and "the plan of mercy" (Alma 42:15). The plan of salvation is the fulness of the gospel. It includes the Creation, the Fall, the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and all the laws, ordinances, and doctrines of the gospel. Moral agency, the ability to choose and act for ourselves, is also essential in Heavenly Father's plan. Because of this plan, we can be perfected through the Atonement, receive a fulness of joy, and live forever in the presence of God. Our family relationships can last throughout the eternities.
In our premortal life, God wanted us to be tested. He wanted us to learn in our life here on Earth, He gave us hope and we wrestle through the challenges life gives us. But there is another, Satan (the Devil) who tempts us, makes us miserable and wants to destroy us.
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Light.
-edit--
It was Jesus Christ who created the world, universe and everything. in 7 steps. Thats why we have 7 days, and the last day, He rested, that's why we have the Sabbath Day for Rest.

The Intelligent Designer got a chemistry set for his 6th birthday. Unfortunately, he wasn't THAT intelligent.
Why do some people care so much about something totally irrelevant?
Children are dying, needlessly, every day. People are suffering, while we spend our time debating b.s. DO SOMETHING!

All that is manifest or will become manifest in the world of form exist in the unmanifest of the non-physical Godhead. Some refer to as Divinity.
