Skywriting might work if its a short message like:
Hey Pope, call this number: 1234567788
You could also get the people on the parade grounds in Vatican City to form letters below the Pope's window. Spell it out.

If your plan is to speak to the Pope, then you will have to take a number and stand in line. The best way to get a message to the Pope is through your Bishop or Cardinal. Now if you are not Catholic.....***

the only person that you will not get in touch with,is the Pope;
the Vatican gets up to 2000 calls a day .and has over 450 phone numbers
