Why do people who are religious tend to think that people who are atheist, satanist, or agonostic need help?

Whats up with that ****... y do people look down apon people like that, why do they give a **** what they are? its like saying if your not catholic or christian your hated, y only hate atheist, agnostic, and satanist, but not others like buddahist, jews, or others. They dont believe in Jesus or the same god you do, so y not hate them if your going to hate these three, huh? assholes!!! and i know theres poeple out there that are catholic or christian that are not like that so i mean no harm, im cool with you people just others are stupid.

Some people are like that, but as you mentioned not all are. I think its very wrong of anyone to try and force someone to become part of another religon. I have many friends of other religons and beliefs and I would never try and say that one religon was better than another. Its another persons belief, something that they hold dear and its wrong to try and change that. I have had friends who aren't christains and have had people approach them and say, "I'll go to church and pray for your soul." (implying they're going to the bad place)

Even if you disagree with a religon, don't put down other ones, you should be respectful to all religons. (In the Bible it does say to "tolerate other religons" and not to force them to convert. I can understand why you'd be angry, but if someone like that comes up to you like that, they're not a real christain, just ignore them, some people like any other religon or ethic group can be closed minded.

For the goddess, from the way you write, you had assumed all atheists jam down the idea there is no god. Maybe I should inform you most of us do not really care if others believe in their god. The only time I tell people that there are no gods is when some people starts to belittle people like me and call me names because I do not believe in what they believed.

becuase of the past and stereotyping, i remember i went to the store with my mom and i was like all decked out you know with commbat boots and these fish nets and this black skirt and this corset it was kool and like this 47 year old girl came out of the door and was like "oh my gosh god bless you" . that made me so mad because she didnt even knew me or what i believed in or what kind of person i was....i dont even know, just because i dont believe in it doesnt mean i'm a bad person.

and again the HISTORY:
when queen victora's husband died she went into great morning and she wanted to wear dark colors and wanted everyone elese she ruled after to do as she did thats how this whole wearing in black started and idk i gues most people thing its a bad thing because its different and its what most people deni.

Again with the stereotyping most majority of the people think they are better becuase most believe in this "god" and it makes me mad becuase everyone just thinks its bad you know?? idk...it makes me mad..

May i also say..people who are athiest basically have there OWN religion called "i hate religion".lol. becuase they are just..if not worse..in jamming down people's throat that THERE IS NO GOD! So, they also have no respect for others belief...
