This guy Im interested in and I talk all the time, but only online. We live bit of a distance away from each other, and are busy so we never hang out in person. However, I get the impression he likes me, but I'm not sure. And since I dont see him in person much, I can't judge by body language or touching and things like that.
What do guys do to let you know they like you using only text?

I thought I might just straighten some things out. this guy is an IRL friend, I met him at university. we are friends offline, we just talk mostly online. so, its not like im talking about some dude i met in a chatroom who I wanna hook up with. so im thinking hes interested IRL. not like a "e-romance"

I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm going through something similar and I can't tell how interested he is in me. I'd just say to wait until you guys exchange phone numbers. I think that is a definite sign, but I could be wrong. I'm having difficulty figuring out the differences b/w a horny guy and a flirting guy.

Well I say if they chat with you often than that's the biggest sign but maybe if he asks you questions about yourself it means he wants to get to know you, or maybe he'll ask you for a phone number.But otherwise it's kind of hard to know how someone flirts with you online I'm actually having the same problem as you she chats with me daily but don't know if she likes me or not, So i guess it's kind of hard to know,

Actually you just said you two talk all the time, but "onliine only" and are "to busy to hang out." Ok' whats up with that? So you talk all the time but, to busy to hang out ?!?
I would just sit back and wait. Just be yourself and if he
" likes you" then it will grow into bigger things..
Sounds to me "busy" means online and if " so busy" then who else is he busy telling the same thing too, besides you?
Wouldn't you rather get to know him more in person, verses his words on screen. Personally I'd prefer good night ending with a kiss, not the click of mouse.

u want to know that what they r trying to write which tells u that he likes u, its like that if he says u miss u in end of chat, or says that he thinks abt u the last nite and all these sweet talks. if u talk all the time it means he likes to talk with u,might be he will be having same feeling like u.

hmmm well lets c. this is happenin 2 me rite now. i really like this chick that goes 2 my skool n she is like talkin 2 me everyday online. but some guys r just 2 shy 2 say they like someone, like me. then oneday she asked if i could go somewhere with her. so u neva no wat could happen online convos. if this guy talks bak straight away, n doesnt take ages 2 comment bak 2 u, its a good sign that he likes u.
things i talk bout wen talkin 2 this chick i like r just normal stuff. another good sign if he likes u is that he will keep talkin 2 u 4 ages, n he will keep the convo going
