Christians say that homosexuality is a sin because the bible says so. But the truth is, people are born gay. As a gay guy myself i know this very well. Who would be as mindless as to choose to be a gay? I personally don't want to be gay, but no matter how much i hate it, i can't change my sexuality. When you're attracted to someone, it comes naturally, you don't choose to be attracted to someone. For you christians, do you think that you could just wake up one morning and say, "today i choose to be gay", and you're actually going to be attracted to the same sex. Christians might get fancy and say, "God don't hate homosexuals, He hates homosexuality". Hello! If that is true, why did God create homosexuals then? So do gays not have the right to have sex like hetrosexuals do? God created homosexuality Himself and then condemns it? I repeat, i was BORN gay! So if God created me, he also created homosexuality! Accept the truth as it is, you stubborn christians. Bible=fake

People are born gay? Where do you get this information? Do people born to be drug addict and murderer too?

If your hypothesis is true, we don't need law for living. Everybody should understand that we are born to be what we use to be. In other words, you cannot put a murderer behind bar because he was born to be a killer. Illogical.

Please, I have all the compassion in the world for you, but how do you know that you were born gay? Most people cannot remember when they were that young.

I believe you that you did not choose to be homosexual and that it is something that you cannot control, but that doesn't mean that the condition is genetic. If the condition was genetic, then every person born as an identical twin would have a brother or sister that had same gender sexual attraction because they have the same genetics. But that is not the case.

I used to work in psych for many years as a RN and I've looked at others and reflected in myself a lot. From what I can tell, Freud was correct in that we all have a psychosexual development that we must go through.

For a boy to develop a heterosexual attraction he must have a father or father figure that is good enough that he can, at a very deep level, accept his own masculinity. There is also a psychological process called "modeling" where the boy or girl imitates, at a deep level, the same sexed parent.

The boy must also have a mother that is nurturing and loving enough for him to not be afraid of women.

The same things are necessary but opposite for girls to develop heterosexual attractions.

Everyone that I have known well enough to know their family background fits that picture. So many women are lesbians because they were incested by their fathers or raped at an early age. The rage they feel toward men because of this has prevented their sexual urges to be directed towards men.

The fact that more of us don't have same gender sexual attractions is only because God designed us to be so resilient. If all of us lived according to God's teaching in the Bible, there would not be children that grow up with same gender sexual attraction.

All children would have 2 loving parents of the opposite sex that don't get divorced and raise their children with loving discipline.

Just so you know; many of us that don't have same gender sexual attraction, do have problems in our romantic lives because of similar problems with our psychosexual development.

My mother and father were divorced when I was 2 and 1/2 years old so that my mother, brother, and I had to live with her parents for 13 years. My mother worked and dated so had little time to spend with us kids. My father lived in a different state and was always drunk the few times I saw him. At least 3 times a week, my mother told me that if I wasn't "good" that she would leave us.

Her repeatedly saying that from the time I was 5 to 16 y/o scared the crap out of me!!

I've always had problems being assertive with women and had fears of rejection and abandonment since then. I did work through these issues and was doing pretty good until my wife divorced me when I became physically disabled.

Now I have to work through those issues all over again.

There have been some successes by Christian councelors in helping men that had same gender sexual attractions. Of course, the Gay Lobby says that these men were "brainwashed" and criticises this but that is because it threatens their position that same gender attraction is "normal".

If you click on the website of Focus on the Family you may find some information that is helpful.

God did not create you to have a same gender sexual attraction! People did that to you! God did create all persons to be sexual. That does not mean that it is not a sin for people to have sex before they're married or to someone other than their spouse.

its been scientificly proven time and time again that parts of a gay persons brain are in fact differant than a straight persons. this isnt something that just happens at birth. when your born everything that is going to happen to your brain, and your height and your weight and everything is all in your genes. so the parts that make someone gay HAVE to be in there. but the bible says its wrong so christians will defend to the death that it is wrong. so what about the fact that there is evidence of homosexuality that has been found in girraffes, swans, and several other animals as well. a girrafe or a swan doesnt know what gay is. they just dont know the meaning of the word gay, or all of the stigma that goes with it. a swan cant choose to be gay because it doesnt know what gay is. so its gotta have come from something already inside them. idk dude. you can pitch this till your blue in the face, but there will always be people who doubt it. i personally dont get how people can say "god created everything"....well....a gay person certainly is something...therefor logicly god must have created it if he created everything....

christians for the most part pick the sins that are okay and pick the sins that aren't
one guy will say gays will burn in hell, but he disrepects his parents or abuses drugs. is one sin worse than another? i think the bible teaches that all sins are equal. but many christians think that homosexuality is somehow worse than any other sin, including murder. christians would prefer a guy to kill someone, go to prison, say he's found god, and will never kill again. than just some gay guy who's out there, not committing crimes, working his 40 hours a week, paying taxes.......so on and so forth. somehow christians would rather have the murderer saying he's found god, than some gay guy that enver causes any problems saying he really doesn't care about god or religion.

I have often wondered this myself. Anti-homosexuality comes from the Old Testament and remember, it is not a god-given law (like the ten commandments), it is a manmade law. Jesus created a new covenant with only two commandments. If we accept that Jesus came to fullfil the law, then it doesn't make any sense to me that all that old rabbinical law still applies. The only reason to include the Old Testament is so that people would know what Jesus came to change. Why would God apply old rules to a new game?

The bible-thumping bunch hate it when you confront them on this, so I expect a few thumbs down...

Saying God created homosexuals is like saying God created adulterers. I once became attracted to someone other than my husband when we were having problems in our marriage. I was drawn away of my own lust. God didn't have anything to do with it. I believe in God but I also believe that there is a devil. Satan is the source of our temptations but our own lust is ultimately takes us down the wrong paths. I was born sexually attracted to men, but learned not to act on every impulse of my body. I will never believe the Bible is fake. God bless!!

Why can't christians accept the fact that pedophiles are born pedosexual, not because they choose to? Christians say that pedophilia is a sin because the bible says so. I personally don't want to be pedosexual, but no matter how much i hate it, i can't change my sexuality. I had an argument with a lady a couple of years ago and I stated that people are born gay just as we are born straight. Her response was, "God would not put a gay baby on this earth!" I felt like asking her if she had heard it from god first-hand, but I didn't. I wish now that I had.

Because that is a lie from the pit of hell. No one is born homosexual or heterosexual for that matter. What do you have to back your claim that homosexuals were born as such? There are no homo, hetero, pedo, bi genes.

If you feel that way about someone, then Satan (the Devil) is tempting you to feel that way. He wants to destroy you, make you feel miserable and to make you think that you are a gay. You can change it. Nothing is impossible in the Hands of God. He loves you and knows that you can pass this trial He has given you. There is no trial he has given us that we can't handle.

I suggest you to read "The Family: A Proclamation to the World"

I hope it helps.
