He was put to death because a mob demanded it.

No they wouldn't....well maybe.
I glorify Jesus for doing this because He did not judge them...they are His equal(obviously not as the son of God...but you get it). Jesus could heal those lepers and diseased.
He drank wine because it was better for him than water(the alcohol killed the bacteria) and He had long hair because most men of his community had long hair....
If there was someone doing this today, I would not Glorify him....but I would respect him for it....
oh wait, Bono? Oprah? Angelina Jolie-Pitt?....yeah, they do that kindof thing, not to mention the countless others.

We don't know what Jesus looked like. Paintings all lean toward long hair, but who was actually there to know? He drank wine, but not to excess - it was part of a daily meal and not to get drunk. He didn't run with bums and lepers, but was kind to them when he did meet them.
Today's standards are just that - today's standards. Hippies started the latest long hair look and were usually unkempt and on drugs, so long hair became associated with slovenly and addictive living. And if you said you were gay, 20 years ago, it meant you were happy. But try saying that today and people label you as a homosexual. Things are constantly changing in society.

Because some do not know him. Even in his day many did not know him and had the same reaction. your answers will demonstrate the point many still do not know him. Jesus is sinless but he dined with sinners...Jesus not only drank wine he turned the water to wine. many would rather mold God to their image than accept the truth.

Maybe the bums and lepers needed him more so than others at the time. He also healed bums and lepers. Would someone be ostracized today if they did that? He mingled with people from all walks of life.

Jesus didn't have long hair, His hair described by Pontius Piolet was almost shoulder length.
Jesus did drink wine but it was not like the wine of today, the wine in the bible day was good for the stomach and was not as alcholic as todays wine.
Jesus helped heal the sick and lame, This is a blessing of God and i don't see why you added this to your question.

who said Jesus had long hair?
it must be the american media telling you that. get on with the real world!
and the wine then is not the wine now. the wine was good for health and good to keep warm, and i believe was non-alcoholic.
Jesus hung out with those people to tell them to REPENT, by His love, and grace and peace.

Good question.
Water was not clean =so they drank wine
Jesus hair was probably the style of the times,so he fit in.
Jesus came to save ,heal, deliver and set free .While the Religious rejected Him , many ran to Him.
Yes, we would reject anyone like this today, because Christians know that Jesus has already came.
But there will be two prophets that will stand at the walls of Jerusalem and preach.Anyone left behind please listen to what they say.<><

Jesus had long hair because everyone did, there were no Barbers around. He didn't hang out with bums, all his disciples had come to him from honorable occupations. He healed Lepers because there were many around, and again he didn't hang out with them. Again your wrong, men with longhair are not ostrisized, where do you get your information?

He healed people and taught them lessons, I see what you mean but that's probably why that the church didn't believe that he was Christ.
